WHAT WE OFFER TO PARENTS & FAMILIES

Side by Side Program

At Angels Society, the Side by Side Program is designed as a unique, family-centered experience where parents and children participate together in a supportive, engaging, and joyful environment.

In each session, families attend side by side, allowing parents to actively observe, learn, and practice alongside their child. The program is built around carefully designed sensory and movement plans, where children are guided to explore, understand, and develop their motor skills, sensory awareness, and body coordination through play-based activities. Our approach goes beyond traditional programs by focusing not only on the child, but also on empowering parents. Throughout the sessions, parents learn practical, science-based strategies that they can confidently apply at home, helping their child continue progressing in daily life. This reflects Angels Society’s broader mission of combining movement, sensory integration, and family support into one holistic model.

WHAT WE OFFER TO PARENTS & FAMILIES
Personalized Support in Every Session

Personalized Support in Every Session

In each session, Fia (motor learning specialist) and Joey actively engage with every family, creating a warm and individualized experience.

Fia moves throughout the space, observing each child carefully and designing personalized sensory or movement-based activities tailored to their specific needs. These activities may include playful exercises, sensory games, or motor challenges, all adapted in real time.

Together, Fia and the parents guide the child through these activities, showing how joyful play, excitement, and connection can be powerful tools for improving:

  • Motor skills and coordination
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Confidence and engagement

At the same time, Fia and Joey provide ongoing feedback and guidance to parents, helping them better understand their child’s movement patterns and needs, and how to support them effectively at home.

Group Activities & Community Connection

Children participate in a variety of activity stations, each designed to support different aspects of development, including:

  • Sensory exploration
  • Movement and coordination
  • Cognitive and play-based learning

Families also take part in group activities, creating opportunities for connection, shared experiences, and peer interaction. These moments help build a strong sense of community, where families feel supported, understood, and connected to one another.

This community-based approach is one of the key strengths of Angels Society, creating not just programs, but meaningful human connections that many traditional services lack.

Group Activities & Community Connection
Creative Expression & Arts

Creative Expression & Arts

In addition to movement and sensory activities, the program also includes arts and crafts stations for children who are drawn to creative expression.

These activities provide:

  • Opportunities for imagination, creativity, and expressing their feelings
  • Development of fine motor skills
  • A calming and enjoyable sensory experience

Children can freely engage in artistic projects, allowing them to express themselves in ways that feel natural and enjoyable.

A Holistic, Joyful Approach

The Side by Side Program is not a clinical or rigid environment. It is a warm, dynamic, and inclusive space where learning happens through play, connection, and real-life experience.

By integrating:

  • Movement
  • Sensory development
  • Emotional support
  • Parent education
  • Creative activities

we create a program that supports the whole child and the whole family.
